Reason to Visit There: Another popular minced meat noodle stall that used to operate near the former Capitol Theatre, 培兴面家 Puay Heng minced meat noodles (aka bak chor mee) is famous for its chewy noodle texture with its addictive seasoning sauce, further complemented by plentiful fresh ingredients from minced meat to mushrooms, all tossed in a right proportion of vinegar, pork lard and chilli paste.
How to Get There: Board the East-West Line (EW12) or Downtown Line (DT14) to Bugis MRT station, an underground interchange station linked to Bugis Junction. To get there by bus, you may hop on to bus number: 2, 7, 12, 32, 33, 51, 61, 63, 80, 130, 133, 145, 175, 197, 851, 960, 980.
